"In case you are wondering the postal code system for Dublin works like this. Simply all the odd numbers are North side (North of the River Liffey) e.g. Dublin 1,3,5,7
with the lower the number the more central). The even numbers are all South side e.g. Dublin 2, 4, 6/6W, 8. If you are looking for fairly central I wouldn't consider going farther out than postcodes I have quoted here.
The general belief is that living on the South side of the river is a nicer area but is also a lot more expensive. Living on the North side of the river is cheaper housing but it is very much a working class area, in my experience a very good area too, but not as posh as the South Side. I suggest that you should avoid places based on their noise levels as well as their criminal record. So here they are: Inchicore, Thomas Street area (it's going to be hard to get decent rest there), Finglas, Clondalkin, Ballymun, Sheriff Street , Portland Row, Ballybough, Coolock, Irishtown, Dolphin's Barn and Rialto. Everywhere else is good, though in a big city crime can happen anywhere and at any time. I lived in Finglas for a year and I found it to be good, but the general opinion is that it is not good for families"

To bi bilo sve za danas, sutra ću opet pisati o lijepim stvarima. Ne brinite, potpuno sam sigurna, živim i radim na 100% sigurnim i posh mjestima, ovo su bile samo male početne pogreške. Pozdrav svima! :) Ana
